December 17, 2006 While driving home the other evening I noticed that Tsunami on Kenmore Ave. was closed and will reopen as Torches. This event was explained by Janice Okun (Buffalo News Food Editor) in GUSTO on Friday. Chef Michael Andrzejewski has closed Tsunami and it will be taken over by two brother, J.J. and Kevin Richart. Torches will be open by March 1st. November 18,2006 Well, it's that time of year when a very important decision has to be made - how to cook the turkey. Over the years I think we must have tried just about every method except the deep-fry method. (We love stuffing done in the bird!) The last few years it was brined first, but the final decision for this year has yet to be made. Whatever decision is made I know it will be fantastic. Night” on Friday June 16. The Taste of Niagara will take place at Outwater

Annual Evangola Winter Festival is being held next weekend at Evangola
State Park Feb. 18,19 & 20th. Desperados Barbecue & Catering is going
to be there with their Pulled Pork BBQ. Desperados is going to be opening at a
new location - 29 Commercial St. in Angola. They hope to be opening in April.
