 The Office of Strategic Planning  of the City of Buffalo recently launched a a new project called "Operation Word of Mouth." 
A study prepared by Paula Rosner, the Economic Development Planner, using data from a consumer survey prepared by Goldhaber Research Associates, showed that, 51% of suburban residents and 78% of city residents regularly patronize restaurants located in the City and that almost seventy percent of the respondents obtain restaurant information by word of mouth.
In response to these findings, Paula Rosner started "Operation Word of Mouth."
  Specially designed Post Cards are being distributed to all Buffalo Restaurants.
It' simple to use and just takes a moment.
When dining at a Restaurant in Buffalo, 
Enter a friend's name and address and sign it. 
The restaurant takes care of the rest.

 If a restaurant has not gotten these cards yet, they can be picked up at several locations:
