Sweet 'N' Sour Slaw



 1   small head cabbage (shredded)

1/2  onion finely chopped

 2   peeled & grated carrots

 1   apple peeled, cored and chopped

1/2  cup currants or raisins

1/4  cup chopped pecans

1/2  cup honey

1/4  cup cider vinegar

 2   teaspoons salt

2/3  cup salad oil

     Pepper



In large bowl, toss together vegetables and apple.

In small saucepan, combine honey, vinegar and salt.

Place over medium heat until heated through. Transfer

to small bowl and cool to room temp. Add oil and mix

well. Pour over vegetables; toss to coat. Refrigerate

at least 3 hours before serving.
