Southern Pork Chops
4 large pork chops
1 1/3 cups packaged precooked rice
1/2 cup sliced celery
1 teaspoon instand minced onion
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) condensed
golden mushroom soup 1/4 teaspoon
poultry seasoning or sage
1 can (11 oz.) tomato bisque
Dash of pepper
Brown chops on both sides in
large skillet. Remove chops and pour off any fat. Add celery to skillet
and saute lightly. Stir in 1 1/3 cups water and remaining
ingredients. Mix well and heat. Put in shallow
2 quart baking dish. Arrange chops on top, cover and
bake in preheated 350 degree oven about 45 min.
