Sun. April 26,1998 Mint Julep as made @ The Camberley Brown
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons water
8 fresh mint leaves
Crushed ice
3/4 cup Kentucky bourbon
4 fresh mint sprigs
Stir sugar and water in heavy small saucepan over low heat until
sugar dissolves.
Remove from heat. Using back of spoon, crush 8 mint leaves into
sugar syrup. Fill
4 tall glasses with crushed ice. Pour mint syrup into glasses. Top
each with 3
tablespoons bourbon. Garnish each with mint sprig.
